NAID Registration- Selling Brokers
In order to place a bid on a HUD property, you must have an active NAID (Name Address Identification Number issued by HUD). Only selling Brokers may obtain a NAID. Real Estate Agents must use the NAID of their Selling Broker to submit bids. Register at www.HUDHomestore.com. Click on the link to NAID registration and download application forms SAMS 1111 and SAMS 1111a. Follow the instructions posted and submit your applications to your respective HUD Homeownership Center. When you have completed the application process, you will be issued a NAID.

Once you have obtained a NAID, you can register at www.HUDHomestore.com and create a user name and password login. If you are a Selling Agent, your principal broker must be registered before you can register. This NAID registration permits you to make an offer on a HUD property and proceed to the sale closing.
